The interactive, engaging image consultation is the magic behind the ZenZen expertise. Cindy French, the veteran colorist and founder of ZenZen organic hair salon doesn’t only do organic hair color, she transforms her clients. Cindy, who’s worked in Australia and Milan, takes into consideration many aspects of her clients’ lifestyle as well as their skin tone, eye color and physical stature. For Cindy, this is not just work, it’s her passion…helping people look and feel their best. Thanks to an in-depth consultation, Cindy is able to understand her clients’ fashion sense, preference and how much maintenance time they’re willing to put in.
To make a very long story short, Cindy French has been professionally coloring and styling hair for the past 25 years. She’s been colorist for Shireen Sandoval of Deco Drive and is a certified educator for Organic Color System. The organic boutique salon owner is constantly learning about new techniques and staying ahead of the game through continuing education, in fact she’s presently completing certification for Color/Image consultant with Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute, Leatrice Eiserman. Her work includes giving back to her community by volunteering with the Look Good Feel Better organization.
Training under world-renowned hair-Olympic stylist, Michael Taylor, and the very talented Augie Augusto, it’s no doubt Cindy is pure magic when it comes to hair styling. Just ask any of her regular Miami clientele. She truly made her mark serving colorist for Vida Sassoon’s former artistic director, for founder of HairDesigner TV Trevor Sorbie and for Vivienne Mackinder of M.O.D. Magazine.
Cindy’s work has been honored and recognized throughout her career with awards like the Rising Star for her work with Vivienne Mackinder. For two years, she served as a L’Oreal Professional Portfolio Artist, touring the U.S., headlining shows. Her accomplishments certainly don’t stop there, she was the U.S. representative to L’Oreal Professionel in Paris for spring and summer collections. Did we mention her stylist experience during New York Fashion week?
